The moral of this story?

If everything is really crappy, you can just be mediocre.

(Sorry about another Scientology post.  It’s not important enough to warrant complete thoughts, but it’s topical enough to generate musings.)

Sales Genie - Super Bowl Redundancy

February 4th, 2008 Donny Posted in Musing No Comments »

EscherSuper Bowl commercials are supposed to entertain us. And while we all probably got a kick out of watching Justin Timberlake crotch-pound a mailbox, I was actually a lot more intrigued by the two Sales Genie ads that were shown.

The ads are in no way good. If you must watch them, you can find the first one here. I won’t link to the second one, because I don’t want to be responsible for that inducing that much boredom.

Anyway, the reason that I find the Sales Genie commercials intriguing is that they spent A LOT of money to find customers for their product. But their product is a list of people who are potential customers. See the redundancy yet? And they showed their ads twice.
